Ethiopian Medical Students’ Association 5th General Assembly is to be hosted in the surprisingly beautiful city of SNNPR, Hawwassa from January 12 to 16, 2017.
EMSA general assembly is a unique platform for medical students to discuss on relevant health issues, medical education and health advocacy. EMSA aimed to empower medical students in the country by inviting internationally certified trainers during annual conferences like this.
EMSA had its general assembly 4 times before in different local member organizations and what makes this GA different is, it is the 3nd in its kind to be hosted in SNNPR. Hawassa University is one of the finest and oldest universities in the country. Hawassa University, School of Medicine is among the leading medical schools in the country with spectacular changes inside. EMSA Hawassa is also part of the history being done in the School of Medicine and become one of the best local member organizations of EMSA-Ethiopia. EMSA-Ethiopia strongly believes EMSA-Hawassa with Hawassa University deserves to host this general assembly. We have selected EMSA-Hawassa among 3 candidates to host this general assembly.
